Launch of the Agender Website.

The Equal-Agender.net website was launched at the Agender Showcase Event held at the Radisson SAS Birmingham on Tuesday 17th October 2006.

The Agender Showcase Event provided a forum for developing new and exciting projects, with existing and new providers prior to Agender's final call for activity.  The day was an opportunity for providers to showcase their achievements to date, and an update for all on the local and transnational progress of the project.

Regeneration and Health Grants 2006-07 Round 2

 

Grants for voluntary and community organisations wishing to tackle health inequalities in the Heart of Birmingham area in 2006-7. 

Organisations must be based in the HoB area including Aston, Bordesley Green, Handsworth Wood, Ladywood, Lozells and East Handsworth, Nechells, Soho, Sparkbrook and Springfield.

 

Up to £6,000 

-         for projects that will bring long term change to the area and community. 

This programme aims to tackle poverty, social exclusion and health inequalities; link regeneration and health; increase knowledge and skills; improve access to and influence over services.

Closing date:  12 noon, 11th January 2007
